Cenotaphs by County

Click on your county of choice to view the list.

There are at least 40 cenotaphs throughout SD & G. Also, grave marker photographs for approximately 10% of those killed in W.W. I have been located and will be inserted in the near future.

Note on Casualties: While most fatalities happened more or less immediately in action, some died from diseases such as influenza, and many more died later from their wounds. In most cases where a man is listed as died with a date, it is from his wounds.
